I found a simple sketch at Stampin' Celebration this week.  I wanted to create a clean layout so that the focus would be on this wonderful pic of my granddaughter. I pulled the colors from her shirt.  Isn't she just the cutest!

The sketch at MDS Monday this week could be used for a card or a scrapbook page. I chose the scrapbook page and my "so sweet" granddaughter.  I hadn't used Storytime collection from MDS yet so decided now was the time.

MDS Challenge-Photo Shapes

I found a MDS challenge on Kimberly Van Diepen's blog, StampinByTheSea.com. The challenge is to use photo shapes on your page.  Well, of course, I had to use my favorite scrapbooking subject--my sweet little granddaughter!  I really like this fun, whimsical page.

Today's challenge at MDS Monday was not the easiest for me.  The sketch is great!  The challenge to use the brush tool was definitely a challenge for me!  I do not do well trying to freehand especially with a mouse.  So I just put a simple flower in the lower left hand corner.  And, of course, I used my favorite subject for my scrapbooking....my sweet granddaughter, Katie!

Change!

Hi stamper friends!

I can't even begin to count the number of blogs I have been following.  Most of them I had set to get an email whenever there was a new post.  Well a few days away from my computer and my inbox was really, really full.  Over a thousand new emails!  I decided to change to using feeds instead of email notification.  I am using Feedly.com and have been slowly changing over.  I know that when a person unsubscribes from a blog the blog owner sometimes gets an email notifying them of that.  Just want to let you know that if you get said message that I have unsubscribed.....I didn't leave you!  Just getting your post another way!  I really enjoy seeing what others put out for our inspiration.  Thanks to all of you for all of your wonderful ideas.

No more pain!

My mother has suffered with chronic pain for years.  On March 18, 2013 her pain ended.  She passed away quietly and went to be with Jesus!  Rest in peace, Mom.  I love you!
